The Joerns® UltraCare 795 encompasses all the features of the UltraCare 790 bed, with the addition of an UltraRoll at the head end of the bed. The additional UltraRoll allows for enhanced mobility, providing swivel caster functionality at both ends of the bed.

UltraRoll™

The UltraCare® 795 features the UltraRoll, which allows the bed to be rolled in any position. Simply slide the foot pedal to engage the casters; slide it back to lock the bed in position. Provides quick and easy bed movement.

Toroidal Architecture

The frame of the UltraCare® bed features toroidal architecture, to provide unmatched strength and stability throughout the entire travel range of the bed. The innovation behind toroidal architecture utilizes a continuous tube, rather than conventional angle iron, enabling the UltraCare to support up to 500 pounds - even at the edge - with no frame distortion.

EasyLift Leg Lift

The EasyLift leg lift on the UltraCare® bed offers added comfort and more therapeutic positioning options for residents - eliminating the need for pillows and wedges.

Staff Control

The optional staff control feature on the UltraCare® bed provides caregivers with an easy-access method of controlling bed operations. Located in the foot panel, the staff control panel features high-contrast, easy to read graphics. Functions can be individually locked out to limit resident operation with the pendant. Caregivers are also able to remove the pendant altogether for Alzheimer's and dementia residents, and still operate the bed using the staff control panel.

• The UltraCare® 795 bed addresses the safety needs of both residents and caregivers with an extraordinary travel range of 9 to 30 inches. The low height of 9 inches reduces the risk of resident injury from falls, while providing restraint-free safety. At the high height of 30 inches, caregivers avoid awkward straining and back positons when assisting residents with daily activities. The unlimited travel range also allows residents to find the best transfer height when getting in and out of bed.
• The four-section sleep surface of the UltraCare® bed, in combination with the EasyLift leg lift, allows residents to be positioned in the way that is most comfortable for them and best for their care requirements. The EasyLift leg lift provides multiple therapeutic positioning options for treating residents with varying needs.
• The two-position assist handle for the UltraCare® bed is an unparalleled enabling and positioning device, designed to provide a restraint-free alternative to side rails. The handle can be used by residents when entering or exiting the bed, as well as during self-positioning within the bed sleep area. Rotating the handle to either the forward or reverse position allows greater flexibility with resident assistance, or caregivers can remove it altogether by rotating it to the center position.
• The assist handles and assist devices for the UltraCare® bed provide a greater level of flexibility for meeting individual care and mobility needs. The interchangeable devices can be mounted to any one of four locations on the bed sleep surface, in a variety of configurations, to best suit resident care requirements.
